02Server logs
When a page is requested, the web server processes the IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and response status. Purpose: operating and securing the website. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Retention: 90 days online and up to one further year in archive.
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, United States, as processor. Transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Netlify participates, and on the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement.
03Enquiries and applications
The form on the Distribution page is used for questions, audition requests and distributor or dealer applications.
- Data: name, email address, and where provided company, website, territory, type of enquiry and message.
- Purpose: answering the enquiry, assessing applications and arranging auditions.
- Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for applications and audition requests; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for general enquiries.
- Retention: until the enquiry is closed, then deleted from the mailbox and the form service. If a business relationship begins, records are kept for the period required by Hungarian accounting and tax law (generally eight years).
- Provision of data: voluntary. Without name, email address and message, an enquiry cannot be answered.
04Processors and recipients
- Netlify, Inc. (United States): hosting.
- Formspree, Inc. (United States): receives form submissions and forwards them by email. Transfers outside the EEA rely on the safeguards under Chapter V GDPR set out in its data processing agreement, a copy of which is available on request.
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Ireland): email (Microsoft 365).
Processors act under data processing agreements. Data is not sold and not used for marketing.
05Cookies and tracking
The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social-media plugins. See the Cookie Policy.
06Social media
FLOW maintains profiles on Instagram (@flow.amplifiers) and Facebook (facebook.com/allegroaudiohungary), operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, and on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/company/flow-amplifiers), operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company. The website only links to them; no data is passed to them unless a link is clicked, after which the platform's own privacy policy applies.
Messages and comments sent to FLOW on a platform are used only to respond (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where the platform provides aggregated page statistics, the platform and FLOW are joint controllers for that purpose under the platform's page-insights terms.
07Rights
Data subjects have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). Requests can be sent to info@flowamplifiers.com and are answered within one month. Identity may need to be verified.
08Complaints
Data subjects may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority or bring a claim before a court.
